Driver is a very different game. Now, you are probably thinking that a Teen rated racing game is going to be really stupid. At least, that is that is what I thought. The main reason Driver got the Teen rating is that there is some language and there is a ton of beating each other's car up. The actual game is pretty fun, but the story is really strange. You are supposed to be an undercover cop who is working for a mob. You carryout the driving missions, and supposedly, you eventually turn them in. Anyway, the game is nonstop action. You are constantly running from the police, flooring it through allys, executing difficult maneuvers. The physics are good and there is hardly no boundarys and no "invisible walls". The graphics could be better, but they are fine considering the huge area you can drive in and the framerate is super smooth if you have a good computer. The sound is pretty cool too. It is really fun to floor it down a roadway, through some cones, and smash into a few parked cars which send damage and car parts flying. Lasting appeal is pretty good because there are lots of hard levels that will keep you busy for a while. There is also an awesome replay mode where you can direct the camera views and see all the chase action. However, the cutscenes are pathetic. You can't even see the car half the time! Anyway, even though the missions and goals in it are pretty dumb, the game is really fun. This isn't the cleanest driving game, and if you like smashing up cars, this isn't the only racer that does that. But it is fun, so you might want to download the demo and see for yourself.
