OK, you are probably wondering "what kind of a game is Driver's Ed?". Well, it isn't much of a game in the sense of fun, but I will still to say something about it. This is excellent for any beginner driver because it has the rules of the road for each US state and Canada. It has the written tests. And best of all it has the virtual city were you can drive in a 3-D inviroment. Your instructor is Driver Ed. He teaches all you need to know on the road. However, he can get pretty annoying. The graphics are fine, but nothing special. The sound is good for Driver Ed's speech, but the effects are minimal. It is pretty fun to drive around and the physics and detail simulates what you really have to do on the road very well. The lasting appeal is good because you can always come back and look up a rule of the road. The driving lasting appeal isn't very good because you always have to what Driver Ed tells you to. Still, it is pretty fun. There isn't a demo for it, but you can take my word for this: If you are 14-16 and either want to jump the gun and be already for your permit right when you are old enough, or you want to practise parallel parking safely, this game is the only one out there, so think about it. See Driver's Education's website above.
