How fun is the game? Is the gameplay enjoyable, or is it mediocre? A very high score in this category requires the game to be a lot of fun in every mode of play.

Replay Value:
Aka lasting appeal. Is the game addictive? Do you find yourself coming back to play it again and again? Does it have a good multiplayer? A very high score would require the game to be all of these things.

Graphics:
Technical "look" of the game. Detail of textures, landscapes, character models, etc. Also the smoothness of edges and animation, speed of framerate, etc. Special effects like dynamic lighting also help the rating.

Sound:
Is the music appropriate, catchy, and not repeditive/annoying? Are there clear and well acted voices? Also, are the sound effects fitting and well-done? Surround sound?

Content Acceptability:
What objectionable content is there? Is there violence, gore, bad language, suggestive themes, etc.? All of these will hurt the rating depending on their intensity and how frequently they appear.
